HOW TO COMPUTE FOR YOUR DIVIDENDS?
  02/26/2021

STEP 1: ALLOCATING THE NET SURPLUS INTO STATUTORY FUNDS (25%) AND DIVIDENDS (75%)

The 2020 Net Surplus of PECCI amounted to P1,708,116. Using the mandated allocation, P427,029 or 25% of the Net Surplus will be set aside and used for the EdCom, SCD and GAD activities of PECCI. The remaining amount of P1,281,087 or 75% will be distributed to all eligible members as dividends.

STEP 2: ALLOCATING THE DIVIDENDS INTO INTEREST ON SHARE CAPITAL (70%) AND PATRONAGE REFUND (30%)

From Step 1, we have computed that the amoujnt available for dividends is P1,281,087. Using the allocation approved during a Representative Assembly, P896,761 or 70% will be distributed as Interest on Share Capital to all members-of-record as of December 31,2020. The remaining amount of P384,326 or 30% will be distributed as Patronage Refund to all members who has paid interest on their loans, in part or in full, during the fiscal year 2020.

...

STEP 3: COMPUTING FOR YOUR INTEREST ON SHARE CAPITAL

The formula in computing the Interest on share capital is "Your average monthly share capital" divided by "Average monthly share capital of all PECCI members" and multiplied by P896,761 (from Step 2).

Average monthly share capital of all members- this is equal to P2,092,426,482.97

Example, if your average monthly share capital is P63,975:

( P63,975 ÷ P2,092,426,482.97 ) x P896,751 = P27.42 is your interest on share capital

STEP 4: COMPUTING FOR YOUR PATRONAGE REFUND

The formula in computing the Patronage Refund is "Your total interest payment for 2020" divided by "Total interest income earned by PECCI for the year 2020" and multiplied by P384,326 (from Step 2).

Your total interest payment for 2020- this information is not readily available from the website, please get in touch with PECCI to get this amount.

Total interest income earned by PECCI for the year 2020- this is equal to P205,945,898.47

Example, if your total interest payment for 2020 is P11,158.20:

( P11,158.20 ÷ P205,945,898.47 ) x P384,326 = P20.82 is your patronage refund

PECCI ADVISORY:
  02/24/2021

PECCI ADVISORY:
  02/22/2021

In a meeting held on February 20, 2021, the PECCI Board of Directors passed a resolution approving the release of Dividends (Interest on Share Capital & Patronage Refund) for the year ended 2020.

The pertinent details of the board resolution are as follows: ...

• Release date: February 23, 2021

• Factor rate of interest on share capital: 0.04%

• Factor rate of patronage refund: 0.19%

• Record Date: All members as of December 31, 2020

• Deductions: NO deductions except for deferments of dormant accounts

As mentioned in our previous announcements, PECCI’s revenue was adversely affected by the global pandemic, particularly Bayanihan Acts I & II as mandated by the government, which restricted the collection of our loan receivables for five-and-a-half months (11 payroll periods).

While this year's dividends are not that much, we would like to thank all of you for your continuing support, especially on the initiatives implemented by management, to mitigate the effects of the Government restrictions.

Looking ahead, let's welcome 2021 with vigor and positivity. Let us pray and hope for everyone's health, safety and prosperity, as we embark on another challenging year.

Thank you.

Greetings of peace to all.
  02/10/2021

As of today, the auditing of the financial statements of PECCI by our external auditor, Isla Lipana is still going.

The CPBOD pandemic has caused a lot of uncertainties in business in various ways. PECCI, for instance, in compliance to the Bayanihan Act did not collect receivables from the members for five and a half months (11 paydays).

To soften the impact of the Government restrictions, and to further be of help to our members, PECCI came up with serveral initiatives including the lanching of new products like the SELA and COVID assistance loans; implementation of contact-less online loan application process; cash refund on ...
advance payments and restructuring of savings deposit interest rates. These initiatives proved worthwhile and if not for your continued support and the surge in collection in December 2020, we would have ended the year at a loss.

Thus, we cannot expect that our 2020 dividends will be anywhere near the dividends of the previous years. Please do not expect substantial dividents for 2020.

We will keep you posted on the release dates of the dividends.

Let us continue to support and patronize PECCI. Your BOD is working diligently, focusing on strategies on building better relationship with the members by improving service delivery and, revitalize revenue generation with new products and services relevant to the times.

PECCI Cares!
